John Leonard
Construction Division Engineer

John Leonard has been Construction Division Engineer for the Oklahoma Department of Transportation since December 2014. Prior to that he served as Assistant Construction Division Engineer and worked at the Perry, Enid and Stillwater Residencies in north central Oklahoma.

Leonard became a Professional Engineer in February 1995 and is a member of AASHTO Subcommittee on Construction, Oklahoma Highway Construction Materials Technician Certification Board and ODOT Right-of-Way Relocations Appeal Board among various other ODOT committees and task forces. He also served in the U.S. Army.

Leonard is married to wife, Kimberly, who works in ODOT’s Office Engineer Division, and they live in Edmond, have three children, one of whom works in ODOT’s Traffic Engineering Division and three grandchildren. He enjoys spending time with his grandchildren and traveling.
