All interested persons are hereby given notice that the Oklahoma Department of Transportation will be conducting a public hearing to comply with 69 O.S. § 503 to consider removing from the State Highway System a segment of I-40 Business and SH-54 Stub within the City Limits of Weatherford, OK in Custer County.

These segments are described as:

• Remove from the State Highway System I-40 Business in the City of Weatherford, beginning at I-40 southwest side of town and extending northeasterly 1.58 miles through town on Main Street to I-40 east side of town.
• Remove from the State Highway System SH-54 Stub in the City of Weatherford, beginning at SH-54 at 4^th Street and extending east 0.22 mile on Main Street to I-40 Business.

These portions of old I-40 Business and SH-54 Stub, including right-of-way determined by the Department, will be transferred to the appropriate local jurisdiction for further maintenance or abandonment.
