David Dyson
David Dyson was appointed by Gov. Stitt in April 2019 as the Transportation Commissioner for District 5. Dyson represents the 11 counties in western Oklahoma.
Dyson currently serves as the Owner of Barber-Dyson Ford Lincoln in Elk City. He won 2014 Dealer of the Year and the dealership has won the President’s Award three times, the highest award possible with Ford Motor Company. He currently serves as Chairman of the Oklahoma Auto Dealers Association and serves on the Ford National Dealer Council.
Dyson is active in his community and involved with the Kiwanis Club of Elk City, the Chamber of Commerce, Elks Lodge Elk City, and Elk City Golf and Country Club.
Dyson holds an Associate of Arts in Agriculture Business from Oklahoma State University.
He currently resides in Elk City with his wife, Shana, and three sons.
