Oklahoma Board of Architects

Founded in 1925, the Oklahoma Board of Architects, Landscape Architects & Registered Commercial Interior Designers is responsible for upholding the State Architectural & Registered Interior Designers Act (O.S. 59 § 46.1 et seq) and Rules (Oklahoma Administrative Code Title 55, Subchapter 10). Professionally licensed architects, landscape architects and registered commercial interior designers are responsible for the physical integrity of buildings and public spaces. They are granted a high level of public trust and directly impact public safety. These professionals must master extensive, complicated codes and laws and are responsible for certifying compliance, quality, and integrity of work. The Board ensures those who offer these professional services are at least minimally competent through rigorous training, examination, and ongoing education.
