Examiners of Perfusionists Board

The Examiners of Perfusionists Board serves as the licensing and regulatory agency for perfusionists. According to the Oklahoma Licensed Perfusionist Act, 59 O.S. § 2051-2071, "perfusion" means the functions necessary for the support, treatment, measurement, or supplementation of the cardiovascular, circulatory and respiratory systems to ensure the safe management of physiologic functions by monitoring the parameters of the systems under an order and under the supervision of a licensed physician.
