Oklahoma Board of Nursing

The Board of Nursing serves as the agency that safeguards the public health and welfare of the residents of Oklahoma by ensuring that any person who practices or offers to practice practical nursing, registered nursing, advanced practice registered nursing, or as an advanced unlicensed assistant in this state, is competent to do so. Founded in 1909, this agency now encompasses the Business/Regulatory Services, Investigative Division, and Peer Assistance Program divisions.
