Chickasha and Miami Service Oklahoma Locations Relocate with Partner Agencies

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

March 8, 2024

CHICKASHA & MIAMI, OKLA. – Oklahomans in the Chickasha and Miami metros now have a one-stop shop for many government services. The Chickasha Service Oklahoma has relocated and is now housed in the same building as partner agency, the Department of Human Services. The Miami Service Oklahoma has also relocated and is now housed with the Department of Human Services and the Oklahoma Employment Security Commission.

This partnership with DHS and OESC provides a bigger footprint and easier access to government services for citizens. Chickasha Service Oklahoma, formerly located at 301 S 2nd St., is now located at 1701 Frisco Ave. While Miami Service Oklahoma, formerly located at 114 1st Ave. SE, is now located at 2114 Denver Harner Dr.

Residents in these areas can visit these locations for driver license services including:

  • Written Tests
  • Drive Tests
  • Driver License, State ID Card and Commercial Driver License Original issuances, Renewals and Replacements
  • REAL ID applications, Renewals and Replacements
  • Disability Parking Placard applications
  • Submission of DOT Medical Card for CDL holders
  • Driver License address update
  • Upgrade an Intermediate Driver License to an Unrestricted Driver License
  • Parent Taught Driver Instruction applications

Both new Service Oklahoma locations also utilize the new check-in system that was launched at all 33 Service Oklahoma Licensing and Exam locations back in December which takes away the need for customers to show up early. The new system works like a restaurant’s waitlist, making it easy for customers to save their spot on the day of their visit – no appointment required.

The newest feature to the check-in system, the live wait map, is also available for citizens to view and save their spot in line right from the comfort of their own home.

Service Oklahoma encourages Oklahomans to go to service.ok.gov/locations and select the ‘Join Waitlist’ icon to get started on the day of their visit.
