The OSDH PHL actively participates in local and national surveillance networks by providing in-house whole genome sequencing (WGS) for PulseNet (foodborne diseases) and the National SARS-CoV-2 Strain Surveillance (NS3) program. The laboratory also participates in NIRC (influenza characterization), ARLN, and NARMS for antimicrobial resistance monitoring.
