The Oklahoma Administrative Code is the official compilation of agency rules and executive orders for the State of Oklahoma. The Oklahoma State Department of Health rules are located in Title 310 *of The Oklahoma Administrative Code.

Overview of the Rulemaking Process
The Department adopts Emergency Rules and Permanent Rules.
The Department adopts Emergency Rules when it finds that a rule is necessary as an emergency measure. Emergency Rules are temporary and have a specific expiration date. The Department adopts Permanent Rules to provide for regulation of ongoing public health issues under the authority granted to the Department by the Oklahoma Legislature.
