What Is OSHA Consultation?

OSHA Consultation Services are a voluntary, no-cost program funded largely by Federal OSHA and administered by the Oklahoma Department of Labor. The program is separate from OSHA enforcement and exists for one purpose: to help employers keep workers safe and prevent injuries and fatalities.

Consultations are requested by the employer, confidential, and focused on solutions—not punishment.

Our Consultants Will:

Identify hazards

Recommend solutions

Provide detailed reports of the visit

Our Consultants Will NOT:

Issue citations

Propose fines

Routinely share findings with enforcement

This page provides a high-level overview of OSHA Consultation Services. For comprehensive program details, requirements, and resources, visit our full OSHA Consultation Services page.
