The Oklahoma Department of Labor Safety and Health division works to improve the safety and health of Oklahoma’s workers in both the public and private sector by providing consultations services, outreach and educational programs, establishing partnerships, setting and enforcing rules and regulations, for the improvement of workplace safety and health to prevent workplace accidents.
The licensing division with the guidance of advisory committees oversees the licensure, registration and regulation of 51 occupational licenses. ODOL licenses individuals and businesses to protect the health, safety, and welfare of citizens by ensuring that licensees have met a standard of expertise.
