Frequently Asked Questions

Licensed Operators, previously called Tag Agents, are locations approved by Service Oklahoma to provide licensing services on behalf of the State of Oklahoma. Oklahoma ID issuance is offered at Licensed Operator locations, and may be a faster option than visiting a Service Oklahoma Licensing Office.

You may receive a new State ID at a Licensed Operator (previously called Tag Agent) location if you have previously received a State ID from the state of Oklahoma. If you have never received a State ID card from Oklahoma, you will need to make an in-person appointmentor walk-in to a Service Oklahoma Licensing Office location.

If you already have a State ID card, you can submit a renewal online.

You can only have the REAL ID designation on one form of identification. If you currently have multiple REAL ID credentials, choose the one you use most often—such as for flying or accessing federal buildings—and update the other(s) to remove the REAL ID designation.
