Issues affecting Change HealthCare

We are aware of the nationwide issue affecting Change Healthcare (CHC). We understand this may impact your ability to file HealthChoice claims electronically.

The claims administrator offers several different methods of claim submission. Claims must be filed using industry-standard formats, with all required fields completed and legible, to be reimbursed for services performed on behalf of HealthChoice, using timely filing guidelines.

  • Use a different vendor to electronically file claims with payer ID 71064.
  • Direct data entry of medical claims is available through the free Optum Intelligent EDI (iEDI) to enter claims directly online through the portal. DentalXChange is available for the direct data entry of dental claims.
  • Upload claim images through the portal.
  • Mail paper claims to HealthChoice, P.O. Box 30511, Salt Lake City, UT 84130-0511.

We are not waiving timely filing requirements at this time but will continue to monitor current claims submission activity. Updates will be posted to this site as they occur.
