Water Utility

The Commission regulates prices and service reliability for investor-owned water utilities doing retail business in the State. These companies are:

State law prevents the Commission from regulating any water utility operated by a city or rural water district. Contact the Oklahoma Rural Water Association for information about rural water districts or your local municipality with questions about city water rates.

The Commission does not regulate storm or sanitary sewers. The Department of Environmental Quality regulates some aspects of sewer service.
