Transportation Division
The Transportation Division administers and enforces various federal and state regulations relating to:
- interstate motor carrier license
- intrastate motor carrier licenses
- permits
- certificates
- nonconsensual towing rates
- nonconsensual storage rates
- railroad crossing safety
In addition, the Transportation Division registers commercial motor vehicles though the International Registration Plan (IRP).
Note: Effective July 1, 2025, the Pipeline Safety Department was transferred from the Transportation Division to the Public Utility Division.
