Public Pools and Spas

You have expressed interest in obtaining a Pools and Spas Permit. To be eligible for a pool or spa construction permit, you must:

• Submit correctly completed pools and/or spas construction permit application to CHSLicensing@health.ok.gov.
• Submit required fee.
  • New Pool - $100.00 per 500 gallons ($500.00 minimum fee).
  • Modification to Existing Pool - $50.00 per 500 gallons ($250 Minimum fee).
  • New Spa - $50.00 per 100 gallons ($250.00 minimum fee).
  • Modification to Existing Spa - $25.00 per 100 gallons ($125.00 Minimum fee).
• Submit pool and/or spa plans via online submission process.
  • Receive confirmation pool and/or spa plans demonstrate compliance with pool construction regulatory requirements.
  • Construct pool and/or spa in alignment with approved plans.
• Submit to inspections during construction.
  • Pipe and steel inspection (prior to concrete pour)
  • Final inspection after completion of construction and prior to license application approval

You have indicated interest in obtaining a Pools and Spas License. To be eligible for a Pools and Spas License, you must:

• Submit a correctly completed license application to CHSLicensing@health.ok.gov.
• Submit the required $125.00 license application fee.
• Demonstrate compliance with regulatory requirements during pre-licensure inspection.
